A GLOBAL TEAM
SML works globally with a focus on London, New York, Los Angeles, Paris, and Berlin. We are proud to be trusted partners to leading art businesses around the world and career advisors to many of its leading players. Our reach is global; our service is personal.
In London, our Soho office is next-door to Mayfair, where many of our clients are based, while in New York our office is located in the burgeoning gallery district of Tribeca. We also have a full-time staff member in Los Angeles.
Today, Managing Director Rosie Allan leads our close-knit team with Rachel Johnston, Commercial Director, Tor Moag, Finance Director, Allison Therrien, Associate Director in New York and Alex Badeni, Associate Director in London.
We are industry insiders who understand the unique businesses that make up the global art sector.
Since launching in 2002, we have seen the sector evolve first-hand, becoming more global, more connected and more responsive to new technologies than ever before. Ensuring the art world becomes more inclusive and diverse is a priority for us all. A strong focus on creating more sustainable practices is essential.
By providing highly personalised art recruitment services we tailor our support to the needs of those we work with, such as by working closely with our clients to find the right employment conditions for each candidate. We build long-lasting connections and are proud to be supporting businesses to plan and strategise for the future.
We also regularly contribute analysis of recruitment trends. After two decades of placing candidates at all levels across a range of international art world businesses, we have an intimate knowledge of areas such as salary remuneration across the sector.
